KRIS MERAKI creates both arts to wear and sculpture to admire.
Tepui meaning «House of the Gods» is the name given to the sandstone mesas of the Gran Sabana in the Southeast of Venezuela by the Pémon, the Indigenous people living there. KRIS MERAKI has borrowed this name for her collection of softly falling, poncho-like felt collars, because «wearing a Tepui you feel incredibly special – as if you were in a «mountain» dwelling of the Gods»!
